Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 4, 2026 · Applies to izzyandandrew.com and the Izzy's Arcade Locker apps.
What we collect
- Without an account: your scores and settings are stored only on your own device (in the browser), not on our server.
- Account details: a username, an avatar and colour you pick, and your password (stored only as a secure scrambled "hash" we can't read).
- Email (optional): only if you add one, and only so you can reset a forgotten password.
- Game progress: scores, XP, badges, favourites, daily-challenge results and play chips. Play chips are free and have no real-money value.
- Friends and chat: your friend list and the private messages you send to friends (up to the last 300 per chat).
- Reports and support messages you send us, including recent chat with a player you report.
- Security data: a login cookie that keeps you signed in, and your network (IP) address for a short time to stop spam and password guessing.
- Visit counts: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page visits without cookies and without tracking you across other sites.
How we use it
- To save your progress and show it on leaderboards (your username and scores are visible to other players).
- To let you add friends, see when they're online, and chat with them.
- To keep the site safe: blocking spam, stopping abuse, and reviewing reports.
We never sell or rent your information, and we don't use it for advertising.
Who can see what
- Everyone: your username, avatar, level and high scores.
- Your friends only: whether you're online, and your private messages to them.
- Our service providers: the site runs on Cloudflare, which stores the data for us. If you add an email, password-reset emails are sent through an email service.
Chat safety
Only friends can message each other. Links are removed from messages. You can Block or Report anyone from their chat. A report also blocks them, and we review reports.
Deleting your data
Open your profile (your avatar at the top), then Delete my account. Your account, scores, badges, friends and messages are deleted right away. Game history that belongs to other players (for example a finished chess game) stays for them but no longer shows your account. Data stored only on your device can be removed by clearing the site's data in your browser.
Who it's for
Izzy's Arcade Locker is made for teens and adults (13 and older). It is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. We ask for the minimum information needed, never ask for real names, addresses or phone numbers, and remind players not to share personal details. If you believe a child under 13 has made an account, contact us below and we'll delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
